Adeyfield Visit Morgan Lewis

Our Year 12 students were fortunate to attend an Open Day at the international law firm Morgan Lewis. This inspiring work experience opportunity provided students with valuable insight into the legal industry, including what it is like to work with high-profile clients across different time zones and the expectations of a career in this field.

The day began with a session exploring the various pathways into law and the opportunities available once qualified. This was followed by a Q&A session with the law associates, who offered an engaging insight into their day-to-day roles.

Human Resources and Business Development professionals, together with a lawyer from the Litigation practice, delivered informative workshops on crafting effective CVs and personal statements, focusing on formatting, relevant content, and refining final drafts. They encouraged students to identify transferable skills they have developed and consider how these can be presented effectively.

Our students found the day extremely valuable and remained highly engaged with the facilitators throughout. This was the second time our school has attended an event at the firm, and we look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.
